Our Live Chat service offers free, confidential advice and emotional support to women affected by domestic abuse, or worried about their relationship. It doesn't matter if this is recent or in the past - we are here to support you. Once you start a chat, you will be put through to a highly trained support worker who will listen to you and help you to explore your options. Live Chat is a safe and confidential space where you can share things at your own pace, and even choose to stay anonymous if you prefer. You have control over the conversation and you can end it whenever you want to. The support worker can help you explore your feelings, offer advice, provide information, refer you into the service for ongoing support, or signpost you to other services that can help, based on what you want.
Live Chat is online:
Monday 11 am to 4 pm
Tuesday 10 am to 4 pm
Wednesday 10 am to 4 pm
Thursday 10 am to 4 pm
Friday Closed
You can also call us on 01223 361214, or email on outreach@cambridgewa.org.uk.
Yes, you can. However, please be aware that you may speak to a new support worker who has no knowledge of your situation, nor any access to details of your previous chats. If you would like more ongoing emotional and practial support, you can ask to be referred into the service, or get in touch with the outreach team directly using the contact details below.
Our live chat can get quite busy, which means you may be placed in a queue for a few minutes - but please do keep trying. You can also send an email to outreach@cambridgewa.org.uk, or call 01223 361214 within office hours to speak to an outreach worker on the phone.
