Cambridge Women's Aid relies on donations from kind individuals and groups to help meet the basic needs of women and children in crisis.
From bedding and towels to kitchen essentials, our Amazon wish list shows all the items we need for new families moving into refuge. We are very grateful for any purchases from this list.
You can support us by donating via the purple 'donate' button on this page. This allows us the flexibility to offer someone the right help at the right time, depending on her specific needs.
If you would prefer to send us a cheque or physical vouchers, please make it payable to Cambridge Women's Aid and send it to CWA, P O Box 302, Cambridge, CB1 1EA.
For any questions about donations, please email alex@cambridgewa.org.uk.
Thank you for your support!

Read stories of families living in the refuge and how donated funds and items made a huge difference to their experience.
CWA helps to provide presents and other items to help our families celebrate. Donations help ensure that no-one misses out no matter what difficulties are in their life. Check back later or get in touch directly for information about Christmas 2026.
Leaving a gift to Cambridge Women's Aid would help us to help the families who rely on us. We recommend you speak to a solicitor if you are writing or changing your will. Please don't forget include the full name of the charity, Cambridge Women's Aid and our Registered Charity Number 1137602. There is more information about how you can do this on our Leave a Legacy page.
CWA does not have a general volunteering programme, due to the resources required to recruit, train and supervise volunteers. Currently we significantly benefit from service users supporting our work through giving their time. Occasionally, we are able to make use of a specific offer of help. If you have a skill or talent you can offer us, please email us letting us know when you are available and what you are offering and someone will come back to you. If you are looking for a women’s organisation that does recruit volunteers, please consider Cambridge Rape Crisis. They offer excellent training and supervision to volunteers.
