Thank you for supporting our work.

Since 1977 Cambridge Women’s Aid has been supporting women and children and providing them with safe accommodation in a refuge.  Many of our families escaping abuse have had to leave most of their belongings at home and almost all are on nil or low incomes.  Donated items from kind individuals provide a valuable source of support to the women and children using our services. Inappropriate donations can take up a large amount of our staff time and can be costly to dispose of.  If you are not sure if we can use an item, please feel free to telephone us.

This information was last updated January 2019. Please note that our needs for donations change on a regular basis so this list will never be completely up-to-date! Please see this list as a guide and email us for current info if you have something specific to offer or want to help us by running a collection for us. Thanks for your support.

“You can meet and talk to women who have been through abuse.  There is a great wealth of information and care given to individuals.  No one is judgemental.”
